  1. I’ve bought and built a couple of your steam trains(mogul, Q class) and I’m just wondering if this one will work with standard LEGO steam train wheels or is it built just for the 3rd party wheels?

    1. Hi Moltar,
It would need some modification, as the standard Lego drivign wheels are noticably smaller than the wheels used in the desgin, but I’m sure it can be done. Same goes for the rods, it can be done with standard Lego, but it will significantly affect the final look.

    1. Hi cap,
The design includes a magnet at the back of the loco to connect to any rollingstock that uses either the modern or 9v era magnet couplers.

    1. Hi Ed,
Honestly LNER Apple Green is kind of right in the middle of them. I [refer to use the standard Green but I’ve seen Birght Green used. Our A3 instructions uses standard Green.

    1. Hi Nat,
The cost of Lego parts on Bricklink when I last checked was approx £110 (plus postage) from 7 UK based stores.
The cost of the Wheels and Rods from Breckland Bricks is £53 (plus postage).
These prices are subject to change (especially the Bricklink prices) and based on the LNER version. The BR verion will be cheaper for wheels (it uses black which means it can use standard Lego wheels where the LNER one can’t, but is also a more expensive colour by and large.

      Hope that helps.
